As we predominantly sell in bulk, most of our products are shipped to their destination by pallet. If however, you buy a single or small quantity of items from us, these will be shipped in boxes via courier. If you are buying items that require palletised shipment, our shipping calculator will inform you of how much space is remaining on a pallet - to ensure you can maximise your purchase against the delivery charge.
New customers will be asked to complete some basic security procedures to help protect against Internet credit / debit card fraud, when they have placed their order. As a new customer your order will be despatched after the security check and should be with you within 7 working days from that date. With your cooperation security checks are normally completed within 2 working days.
Existing customers, known to RDC, should receive their goods within 7 working days of placing their order.
You will receive an email to advise you that your goods have been despatched, with details of the carrier selected. Where the carrier has a website that allows delivery tracking, you will be given the carriers tracking reference for your order. In these cases on the following working day you can go to the carrier's website and check the progress of your delivery from that point onwards. The carrier will advise you of the anticipated delivery date.
Unfortunately our carriers cannot deliver goods at a specified time, but if you do have specific requirements then call us on +44(0)1376 336600 and we will do our best to help.
RDC cannot be held responsible if any email notification fails to be delivered, it will be assumed that the email address you have given is incorrect.
Upon delivery the carriers will require a signature. If no one is present to take receipt of the order, the goods will be returned to the depot and the carrier will either leave a card or attempt to deliver the goods the following working day (exceptions apply to Saturday/Sunday, Christmas and Bank holidays).

If we are able to change the address we will ask you to confirm the new address in writing by either email or fax.

RDC take care and attention to pack goods safe and securely for transit. It is important that if there are signs of damage or loss to your consignment upon delivery that this is noted on the Proof of Delivery note (POD) with the driver/carrier present. Failure to note this information on the POD will make it extremely difficult to validate a claim. Please check your consignment on arrival, Once you have noted this with the driver please immediately contact RDC's After-Sales customer service team and notify us of the damage / loss that occurred in transit.
You can arrange a Saturday delivery, provided that your order is placed before 11.30pm of the preceding Wednesday. Please note that in order to eliminate internet credit card / debit fraud it is necessary for RDC to carry out security checks for all new customers. We ask that any queries we make are dealt with quickly by you, or we may not be able to guarantee a Saturday delivery.
Saturday deliveries also carry an additional charge. The charge varies depending on the contents of your basket and the products within your order.
You may change your delivery arrangements at any time, up until you confirm the purchase of the contents of your basket at the checkout. After you have confirmed the purchase, you cannot change the delivery arrangements.
