RDC’s Vendor Assessment Procedure includes consideration
of suppliers’ CSR – corporate social responsibility.
RDC uses the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard
as a supplier assessment tool. Suppliers are encouraged
to adopt environmental best practise programmes. Vendor
assessments affirm compliance of RDC suppliers to meet
risk management and legal compliance obligations. We
also take the social performance of existing and proposed
suppliers into consideration. RDC prefer to use local
suppliers wherever possible.
