New customers will be asked to complete some basic
security procedures to help protect against Internet
credit / debit card fraud, when they have placed their
order. As a new customer your order will be despatched
after the security check and should be with you within
7 working days from that date. With your cooperation
security checks are normally completed within 2 working
days.
Existing customers, known to RDC, should receive
their goods within 7 working days of placing their
order.
You will receive an email to advise you that your
goods have been despatched, with details of the carrier
selected. Where the carrier has a website that allows
delivery tracking, you will be given the carriers
tracking reference for your order. In these cases
on the following working day you can go to the carrier’s
website and check the progress of your delivery from
that point onwards. The carrier will advise you of
the anticipated delivery date.
Unfortunately our carriers cannot deliver goods at
a specified time, but if you do have specific requirements
then call us on 0870 774 4777 and we will do our best
to help.
RDC cannot be held responsible if any email notification
fails to be delivered, it will be assumed that the
email address you have given is incorrect.
Upon delivery the carriers will require a signature.
If no one is present to take receipt of the order,
the goods will be returned to the depot and the carrier
will either leave a card or attempt to deliver the
goods the following working day (exceptions apply
to Saturday/Sunday, Christmas and Bank holidays).
You can arrange for your goods to be delivered to
a neighbour, just enter their address in the delivery
address details on the checkout page.
If required, we can change the delivery address on
your order, provided your goods have not been despatched
and that you have completed all the necessary security
checks, just call us on 0870 774 4777 and speak with
the Security Check team. If we are able to change
the address we will ask you to confirm the new address
in writing by either email or fax.
Please note that we cannot arrange for items to be
collected from our premises.
If your delivery fails to arrive after 7 working
days from placing your order (allow 9 days if you
are a new customer and this is your first order) then
please contact our After-Sales Customer Service team
on 0870 774 4777.
At the point of delivery, if any goods appear to
have been damaged during transit, please make reference
to the damage on the driver's copy of the delivery
paperwork. Please then immediately contact RDC's After-Sales
customer service team and notify us of the damage
that occurred in transit.
Saturday delivery
You can arrange a Saturday delivery, provided that
your order is placed before 11.30pm of the preceding
Wednesday. Please note that in order to eliminate
credit card / debit fraud it is necessary for RDC
to carry out security checks for all new customers.
We ask that any queries we make are dealt with quickly
by you, or we may not be able to guarantee a Saturday
delivery.
Saturday deliveries also carry an additional charge.
The charge varies depending on the contents of your
basket and the products within your order.
You may change your delivery arrangements at any
time, up until you confirm the purchase of the contents
of your basket at the checkout. After you have confirmed
the purchase, you cannot change the delivery arrangements.
