RDC is located on the outskirts of Witham, Essex around 10 miles north-east of Chelmsford. We are based at two sites: Eastways & Freebournes Road. Below are local and area maps and a set of directions from the most frequently used feeder roads & motorways in the area.

From Stansted Airport & M11 After exiting the M11 at junction 8, take the exit for A120 to Colchester. (Northbound 5th exit / Southbound 2nd exit) Follow the A120, through Takeley At roundabout take the 2nd exit At roundabout take the 2nd exit At roundabout take the 1st exit towards Great Dunmow At roundabout take 2nd exit At roundabout take 2nd exit At roundabout take 3rd exit (MacDonald's and KFC on right hand side) Follow road for about 1 mile and turn left by Three Ashes pub. Follow road for about 500 yards and take the 1st right hand turn. Follow road for 4 miles (Through Silver End) Do not take 1st A12 exit to Colchester. Go under A12 and turn right on to slip road 1st exit to Witham RDC Eastways RDC Freebournes Journey time from M11 roundabout approximately 45 Mins. From the Midlands & A14 Follow A14 signs for Felixstowe. At Junction with A12/A1214 branch left. At roundabout take 3rd exit to A12 towards Colchester. Follow the A12 past Colchester Pass Rivenhall Services and Hotel turning on left hand side. At next junction, exit for Witham Industrial Estate. RDC Eastways RDC Freebournes Journey time from A14/A12 junction approximately 45 Mins. From The South / London & M25 Once exiting the M25 at junction 28, take the exit for A12 to Chelmsford/Colchester. (Clockwise 1st exit / Anti-Clockwise 3rd exit) Follow the A12 for approximately 30 minutes. Follow the A12 past Chelmsford. Do not take the 1st exit for Witham. Take the 2nd exit to Witham Industrial Estate. RDC Eastways RDC Freebournes RDC Eastways As soon as you have gone over the bridge you will see Eastways Industrial Estate on you right hand side, take this exit and the 1st left hand turning (Pickford on the corner) Follow road bearing left (Parallel to railway line) RDC is on the left hand side (2nd entrance on left) RDC Freebournes After crossing the A12 on the bridge bear left and at the mini-roundabout take the first exit (left). You will see the entrance to the Freebournes site 20 yards on the left.
