This week Martin Series, Head of Sales at RDC, joined a sector meeting ran by Adrian West, the Sector Director for the Commercial Team within Computacenter. Adrian’ s team sell to private sector companies with more than 2,000 seats
The team meets every quarter with about 40 attendees including Computacenter’s commercial sector client directors and account managers. In addition Adrian invites his ‘Virtual Team’, a group of people who support his team in sales campaigns and that includes RDC.
“We were given the opportunity to present our Lifecycle Leasing Service which forms one element of the financial solutions Computacenter are able to offer to its customers. By working with RDC and our partner 3 Step IT, Computacenter offers a market leading desktop leasing infrastructure solutions.” Martin said.
“As Microsoft’s pending drop of Windows XP support looms ever closer many organisations are preparing to switch to Windows 7 and we expect a flurry of activity with companies replacing old hardware with new.
It was a great opportunity to meet and network with the whole of Adrian’s sales team and other members of his virtual teams. We met people from Data Optimisation teams, Data Centre specialists and Networking specialists. Meeting other professionals within the Computacenter family helps us to extend our reach in search of new opportunities for RDC and furthermore extend our knowledge of the wide-ranging services the Computacenter group of companies has to offer.”
